My name is Karen Coombs, I teach and live in Bourbon County; let me tell you my story of how Vitaliy Chubaruk helped my husband and I buy a home in Kentucky.
In March 2013 my husband and I were living on a family estate farm in WV; a family member wanted to sell the farm and we couldn’t afford to buy the beloved farm we had been living on. We decided we would move to Kentucky, so we started calling realtors and explaining our story to them, asking if they would help us. Every realtor we spoke with said that they couldn’t help us if we weren’t already approved for a loan. After being turned down by several realtors we came across one of Vitaliy’s listings. I emailed Mr. Chubaruk feeling confident that he too would turn us away; but to my surprise, he promptly responded back and said “yes, he would be glad to help us.” I was in shock but eternally grateful to him.
I made several trips to Lexington meeting with Vitaliy in March and April looking at 5-6 small farms each trip. Vitaliy made us feel very comfortable and welcome while he drove us all over Woodford, Scott, Fayette, Jessamine, Clark, and Bourbon counties. I also continued to look online for properties, I would send Mr. Chubaruk a link of properties we were interested in and he would drive to the properties and take pictures and send back to us in WV. Keep in mind; during this entire process Vitaliy had no idea if we had the money or could get a loan, yet he worked hard for months with us. Finally, we narrowed our search to 3 properties and drove to Kentucky to meet Vitaliy to visit them. All the while we were still in the process of applying/qualifying for a loan. By June we picked the property we wanted and was approved for the loan. In August 2013 we closed on our property.
During the entire process Vitaliy Chubaruk was always professional, kept us well informed, contacted us regularly and always returned our messages within 24 hours, if not immediately. We felt confident that we had found the best realtor in Kentucky; during our closing, the closing attorney turned to us and said, “You’re in good hands, Vitaliy Chubaruk is the best in the business.” Our thoughts were confirmed, Vitaliy Chubaruk is the best!
